Blueberry Preserve: A Raid of Summer’s Sweetness

Blueberry preserve turns deep-hued berries into liquid sunshine. Blueberries slowly simmer with sugar, water, and a whisper of lemon, releasing their heart of summer. In each spoonful, blueberry preserve captures that warm, glistening memory, perfect for awakening breakfast, desserts, or cozy evenings.

Ingredients
● 400 g blueberries
● 350 g sugar
● 300 g water
● juice of 1/2 lemon

Directions
Wash the berries well and then drain.
In a large pot, put the water and sugar and boil for 25-30 minutes on medium heat until the syrup thickens.
Once the syrup is ready, add the berries and the lemon juice and boil all together for 2-3 minutes without stirring, so as not to break the berries.
To see if the syrup has the desired consistency, put some syrup on a saucer and allow to cool.
Once it has cooled tilt the plate slightly and if it is not runny, the syrup is ready.
Store in glass sterilized jars.
