Ingredients

  • 4 medium red apples
  • 180 g olive oil
  • 380-400 g self-rising flour
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 10 tablespoons water
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Baking Tray:
    Line a baking tray with parchment paper and set it aside.
  2. Cook the Apples:
    Peel the apples, remove the cores, and grate them. Place the grated apples in a saucepan with the water. Cook over medium heat for about 10 minutes until the apples soften, then remove from heat.
  3. Add Flavor:
    Stir in the cinnamon and honey, mixing well. Allow the mixture to cool completely.
  4. Make the Dough:
    Once the apple mixture has cooled, add the olive oil, salt, and gradually add the flour while kneading the dough until all the ingredients are combined.
  5. Shape the Cookies:
    Shape the dough into small cookie shapes and place them on the prepared baking tray.
  6. Bake:
    Preheat the oven to 170-180°C (340-355°F). Bake the cookies for 20-25 minutes, or until golden, depending on your oven.
