Ingredients

  • 250 g ripe kiwis
  • 250 g white mulberries
  • 250 g two-tone mulberries
  • 250 g black mulberries
  • 50 g water
  • 900 g sugar
  • 1 sprig of rose geranium (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Kiwis
Wash the kiwis thoroughly to remove any fuzz, peel them, and either grate them or lightly blend them. Transfer to a large pot.
  2. Prepare the Mulberries
Wash the mulberries, trim the stems with scissors, and lightly blend them. Add them to the pot with the kiwis.
  3. Combine Ingredients
Add the sugar to the pot and let the mixture sit for 3 hours. This allows the sugar to dissolve and the fruits to release their juices.
  4. Cook the Jam
Place the pot over high heat and bring the mixture to a boil for 10 minutes. Then reduce the heat to medium and simmer for 30-35 minutes, stirring occasionally. Skim off any foam that forms on the surface.
  5. Add Aroma
Once the jam thickens, turn off the heat and add the rose geranium sprig. Let it steep in the hot mixture for 30 minutes to infuse its aroma. Remove and discard the sprig afterward.
  6. Store the Jam
Pour the jam into sterilized jars while still hot, seal tightly, and let them cool to room temperature before storing.
