
Roast Lamb with Potatoes

Ingredients:
- 1500 g lamb
- Salt
- Pepper
- Oregano
- Juice of 1-2 lemons
- 2 garlic cloves, sliced
- 2 tablespoons mustard
- 250 g white wine
- 150 g water
- 1 sprig rosemary
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4-5 medium potatoes, cut into pieces
Instructions:
- Place the lamb in a baking dish and use a knife to make small cuts in various places. Insert the sliced garlic into these cuts.
- Surround the lamb with the prepared potato pieces in the baking dish.
- Season the lamb and potatoes with salt, pepper, mustard, oregano, lemon juice, wine, water, olive oil, and the rosemary sprig. Mix everything well to distribute the flavors evenly.
- Cover the baking dish with parchment paper and aluminum foil, and bake in a preheated oven at 180-200°C (350-390°F) for about 1.5 hours, depending on your oven. If needed, add a little more water during cooking.
- About 20 minutes before turning off the oven, remove the aluminum foil to allow the food to brown.
