Ingredients

For the Beef
  • 500 g beef
  • 80 g wine
  • A pinch of oregano
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil for frying
For the Potatoes
  • 4–5 potatoes
  • Olive oil for frying
Side Ingredients for the Beef
  • 1 potato per serving
  • 2–3 slices of fried onion per serving
  • 4–5 slices of tomato per serving
  • 2 lettuce leaves per serving
  • 5–6 red pepper rings per serving
  • 1 tbsp yogurt
  • Salt
  • Sweet paprika
  • 50 g water

Instructions

For the Beef

  1. Cut the beef into small pieces, wash them well, and drain thoroughly.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté the beef for 3–4 minutes.
  3. Add the wine, water, and salt, and reduce the heat to low.
  4. Cook for approximately 30–35 minutes until the beef absorbs the liquid and is left with just the oil.
  5. Before turning off the heat, add the pepper and oregano, stir, and remove from the heat.

For the Onion

  1. Peel and wash the onion, then slice it into rings.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan, add the onions, and sauté for 5–6 minutes until softened.

For the Potatoes

  1. Peel and wash the potatoes thoroughly.
  2. Cut them into rectangular pieces suitable for frying.
  3. Heat olive oil in a frying pan until hot, then add the potatoes.
  4. Fry until they develop a golden-brown color.

Assembly

  1. Place the fried potatoes on the plate as a base.
  2. Layer the beef on top, followed by the sautéed onions, tomato slices, lettuce leaves, and red pepper rings.
  3. Add a dollop of yogurt on the side, sprinkle with sweet paprika, and season with salt.
